Vintage Mid Century "Model 654" Leather Chair and Ottoman by Jens Risom

Here is an early Model 654 chair with accompanying ottoman by Jens Risom for Knoll Associates, 1941. This example in its original leather strapping is a patina lover's dream. The set has been completely cleaned, polished and conditioned and is good usable condition. As pictured, there are some cracks in the leather, however none of the straps are broken and the frame is solid as a rock. This iconic mid century chair is as much a sculptural beauty as it is a functional seating element. Thank you for looking and please ask any questions!
